Agilis Systems' Direct Store Delivery
Using Agilis Systems’ SmartWORKS™ software, the company was able to record the GPS coordinates of each store for more precise mapping and to create an accurate snapshot of current routes. The company currently utilizes 100 mobile handsets to go cross-country, market to market, driver to driver, quickly updating every customer’s information on every route. The updates then allow them to obtain more accurate and efficient routes from the routing software. The handsets are also
equipped with Agilis’ SmartFORMS™. Using SmartFORMS, the company created 3 forms with over 80 fields so that drivers can capture updated customer information, service availability and preferred delivery time windows. The data is then sent in real-time to the Agilis dispatching site, where it is immediately available for uploading into the back-office system and routing software.
